SYNOPSIS
A hard ass single mom and her eclectic band of friends steal an artifact from a ghost town, unwittingly bringing a curse upon themselves. An undead cowboy rises from his desert grave to hunt and terminate them. As he chases them back to Reno and the surrounding area he begins to realize that the mother and child he is hunting have an eerie resemblance to his family he left behind in purgatory. Is there any good left inside the monster, or will he take their souls, fulfilling the curse and return to his family who await him in the afterlife.
DIRECTOR’S STATEMENT
I miss the simple yet impactful action and sci-fi movies of the 80's and the gritty dark cinema of the 70's and I think audiences do as well. We are at peak super hero and franchise reboot fatigue and people are looking for fun unique films to help them escape.
